I have determined that the Subtle Mind and Visualization practices were the most beneficial. The brain is the command center within the human body. It receives and sends messages throughout the body via the central nervous system. With that said, training the mind to become calm and subtle is beneficial. Decision making is clearer, ego is not involved, and self-esteem is higher. From a physical perspective, the heart rate is reasonable making breathing easier to control and rhythmic.
Visualization is a great tool to learn and have in life. My partner and I have a vision board with items we want to have and goals that we want to meet. The beauty of the vision board is it can be revised over and over without the feeling of failing at something. I revised my side of the board recently after realizing I have met certain goals which needed changing.
I have started a vision board (or closet doors because I just tape things to my closet doors lol) in order to help me keep a clear vision of my goals. One of my goals since learning the visualization practice is to practice it more often as to manifest the things I want in my life.
ReplyDeleteMatthew,
ReplyDeleteVisualization is a great tool and technique to train our minds. We can use this when facing fear or uncomfortable situations. It reminds me of the Harry Potter movie where they were training the students to use an overwhelming thought of something that they loved or felt protected by to use this in defense to evil that they encountered. So we can apply this concept to our own lives or teach the children to use this exercise and master it as a skill to carry with them where ever they go so it can be easily accessed when facing adversity.
